xczielSo here's a meme that's going around, and I thought "maybe I'll try it out" . But look at some of the questions - these are things your local cat-burglar or stalker would want to know, scattered in amongst stuff about candles and decor. Or am I just being paranoid?
1. What kind of soap is in your bathtub right now?
Face scrub that I use as body wash.
2. Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator?
No, but that's because I just finished it off. Nom.
3. Is there anything moldy in your refrigerator?
I also just tossed the strawberries that I noticed were getting a little too old.
4. What would you change about your living room?
New coffee table!
5. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty?
Have never used the dishwasher. There's only one of me, how hard is it to wash up? (Pretty hard, it seems, dirty dishes are in the sink.)
6. Do you have a can of mushrooms in your pantry?
No, but I haved canned mushroom soup.
7. White or wheat/brown bread?
I am so white bread it's not funny.
8. What is on top of your refrigerator?
White bread! Also cereal box, empty Christmas cookie tins, and magnetic fridge mahjong game.
9. What color is your sofa?
Yuck-color, which is happily covered by a forest green blanket, with lovely soft deep blue and black chenille throws draped across.
10. What color or design is on your shower curtain?
Dark green woven texture.
11. How many plants are in your home?
Five-ish. One little sprout I just started in a pickle jar.
12. How many candles are in your home?
Bunches. Counting tea lights, over 40?
13. Is your bed made right now?
Pretty much never.
14. If you have a coffee pot, what color is it?
Don't drink coffee, no coffee pot.
15. Electric or standard can opener?
Hand crank all the way.
16. Comet or Soft Scrub?
Previously Comet, but now I lean more toward spray bleach.
17. Is your closet organized?
Only in the sense that the clothes are hanging up and the shoes are on the floor.
18. What color is the flashlight that you use the most?
Black purse-size maglight. Makes lovely reading light when power goes out!
19. What kinds of things are in your junk drawer?
Oh god, too many things. One is tape,scissors, twist-ties, shoe polish stuff. One is old markers, playing card decks, childhood jewelry and beads, etc. And one is old/gifted/never used/sample makeup, face cream, soaps and so on.
20. Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home?
Plastic.
21. Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now?
Don't drink tea of any kind.
22. If you have a garage, is it cluttered?
No garage. See also aforementioned junk drawers and closet.
23. Curtains or blinds?
Blinds, curtains and blackout panels (in some cases stapled to the wall for perfect darkness)
24. How many pillows do you sleep with?
Five-ish also (one is very squishy)
25. Do you sleep with any lights on at night?
As black as I can get it.
26. How many ceiling fans are in your home?
The property managers installed one each in the bedroom and living room.
27. How often do you vacuum?
Not nearly as often as I should. But the carpet's getting old, so I kind of let it go.
28. What color is your toothbrush?
Clear with a bunch of blue and turquoise swirly crap in the plastic. I would love to find a plain, solid color toothbrush - there are none, I've looked.
29. Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch?
No, because the neighbors always kicked and scuffed it as they tromped past.

Crumbs?

Pretty clean, actually.

Storage for bed linens. Cords. A couple of magazines that fell between the bed and the wall, huh.

Organizing mail/bills.

In my kitchen cabinets I have my grandma's bakeware. And a couple of her hatboxes are in the living room.
